Connecting to Grok

Connecting third-party apps to Grok AI allows you to turn a standard chat interface into a powerful financial engine. By setting up the Light Horse integration via their Model Context Protocol (MCP), you can seamlessly pull your live portfolio data directly into your conversations for instant AI portfolio analysis and execution.

Follow these steps to set up your X Grok integration using the Light Horse MCP server URL.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Navigate to Skills and Connectors. Open your Grok interface. On the left-hand sidebar menu, click on "Skills and Connectors".
2. Add a New Connector. Within the Skills and Connectors screen, click on the "Connectors" tab at the top. Then, click the "New Connector" button located in the top right area of the screen.
3. Configure the Custom Connector. A "Custom Connector" dialog box will appear prompting you for an MCP server URL. Fill in the details as follows:
   • Name: Light Horse
   • Server URL: https://portal.lighthorse.io/mcp
4. Save the Connector. Click the "Add Connector" button at the bottom of the dialog box. You should see a confirmation message stating "Connector added successfully."

Note: Light Horse will now appear in your list of installed connectors with a "Connected" status.
